Nothing like forgetting something good was happening only to be surprised when it finally pops up! A couple emails and the phone ringing later had me popping over to Houzz to see one of my projects as Kitchen of the Week! How cool! Love this kitchen, glad to see others do too.

Glad we showed up to the event last night! We had a long day at a job site and dusted the drywall dust off, threw on some heels and headed to Designer Bath’s Designer Shine Awards event last night. It was great to see some faces that I haven’t seen since the Passport To Design Bloggers Tour well as other designer friends, not to mention the yummy food and drink from Chive. But the best part of the evening was we ended up winning the grand prize! How fun. Our Camp Kid’s Bath took the prize and we get to have it professionally shot by Eric Roth for Designer Bath’s full page ad in the Nov/Dec issue of New England Home Magazine! I’ll take it! That along with the gift card that came with the winning from Designer Bath…. my home will be happy about that – We’ll have to finally finish that flamingo guest bath! Stay tuned for selections …..

Rainy morning + office time = Happy designer! Thrilled for a rainy morning in office this morning. It’s been a hectic week and I never got around to sharing our guest blog post for New England Home Magazine Blog! We’ve been circling around some stair runner ideas for one of our projects that could coordinate with our Angela Adams ‘Spike’ rug that you see from the front entry. The rug is so fun and the colors are amazing – but pairing a runner with it now is proving to be difficult! So we’re pursuing a custom striped runner with Landry & Arcari.
